
Nancy Zibai Lyu, PhD Student (2024-Current)
PhD Student
Nancy received her B.S. degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) with a minor in Biomedical Research from UCLA in 2024. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Molecular and Medical Pharmacology (MMP) Home Area at UCLA. She joined the Yang Lab in November of 2022 as an Undergraduate Researcher, then in Fall 2024 as a Ph.D. student. Nancy works on engineering iPSCs as an unlimited source to generate next-generation “off-the-shelf” immune cells targeting autoimmune and other diseases.
Besides research, Nancy enjoys playing the Erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument.
